She's doing ok thanks Debih, not really a lot more improvement but it will be slow I guess.

She goes for one walk a day, it's still about the same, to the very end of the road, probably half a mile. Some mornings she doesn't go as far, so then I take her again later, but she's not really up to going any further yet.
She's playing more though, and although still sleeping a lot, is more active in between. And still eating more than normal, but it's gone way down so will I'm sure get back to proper amounts soon.
Her back legs still give way easily, if she tries to run up the garden, or turn quickly, but I'm figuring the more we play with her toys, the more 'training' she's getting :)
We don't see the vet again until next week some time (she said 2 or 3 weeks, so I'll phone later in the week once they know Alison's diary). All we can do is keep checking her gums etc, which are still lovely and pink.

Great news that she's still in the pink Di! It's a blessing that you're home with her all day to take care of her the way you have xx

That's sounding quite positive Di. Admittedly slowly but it's a steady progress which is fantastic :D

Thank you all, I'm so glad you understand how slowly it all happens, rather than just 'oh good she's better' :)

She has been out socialising tonight :)
Sue, the neighbour, absolutely loves Minnie and always wants to know if she will be coming too (they'd always had dogs). We weren't sure, but if she hadn't settled one of us could have brought her back.
She was fine, behaved as normal, ran all around sniffing, sat with her head in Sue's lap, tail wagging, to say a proper hello, then settled down next us by the sofa.
Until either of us moved to get the bottle for a refill, but that's normal too :)

:D
She's been to the park - and off the lead :D
And managed to get into the back of the car - it's an estate, she hasn't been able to do it :D
And got a stick and carried it all round :D
And did a bit of running :D
Snoring now :D
