Afternoon chums. Bitterly cold here too, but we haven't had any snow at all. Just had egg and bacon sandwiches for lunch and Jasper is looking at me with those, 'it really isn't that cold mum and I want to go outside to play' So I will have to wrap up and do the decent thing. Oh well, I'm sure a march across the field will warm me up... I'll light the fire when I get back
Roast chicken for dinner and eldest will be round too, so that will be nice

Afternoon all, we've had more snow overnight and it's falling still, and has got heavier in the last hour. We've got drifts like Debbie's and have just had to use the carpet cleaner to suck up what has fallen in when Joe opened the door to let in his friend from across the road
We took Billy for a walk over the common this morning, the wind was horrible on the return home and the snow really comes sharp on your face when you walk into the wind.
I think we're pretty well stocked up and I do have some bread mixes, one has been used and has just come out of the oven. I am getting cabin fever though, but there aren't many places to go anyway - even the gym has been closed due to the weather.
