Oh wow Kaz - that really does sound amazing! :D
The thought of actually spending that day with the keepers would be very tempting!

Closer to home too if she decided on Bristol ;) not so far to go to get her washing done....

8-) I have mentioned the fact that the train is only a tenner and less than an hour from here, whereas at NTU she would only get home once or twice a term, as it is a long way and quite expensive.......

Bad Mummy trying to influence her  ;)

I did ask her if I could sneak into the lectures and sit at the back - I said I'd be so quiet and so little trouble they'd never know I was there. The look of pure horror on her face!!!!! :P

Saundra by May 1st - if by then she puts Bristol as her first choice she is guaranteed the place and the accommodation.......grades permitting. TBH she already has more than adequate grades from the B Tech she is doing......

Ooo that sounds fab!! On all counts Kaz ;)

It is nice having them close-ish - Jen was only at Newcastle (40 mins drive from here, 10 mins on the train to Durham) although she lived in a house share with four others so totally independant and I rarely saw her - but was close enough to get there in a short time if necessary :)

It sounds perfect to me too Kaz, but as you say it depends what B wants out of it and which place would suit her longer term plans best.
Good length of time for making her mind up though, long enough to have a good think and others' opinions, but not so long she'll be able to dither too much :)

Exactly! Although she's saying she will make up her mind before she goes away, so she won't be worrying about it there, and then rushing to get in a last minute application...........

Gal yes, ideal really 8-)

I honestly don't mind whichever she chooses, I just want her to make the right decision for her :)

Well Bristol is her choice, after all 8-) :) I must admit to being very pleased as it is the best course for her, I think, and it is closer to get home for the odd weekend  This is the course
