Good Morning Tuesday

Postby JanB » 03 Sep 2019, 02:30

Morning everyone

Dark, but warm and another rather hot day is forecast.

Just seen the GNR off   This, hopefully, will be our last disturbed night. Two lovely policemen, I do like a tall, dark policeman    took details, not a felony, as we know, but colleagues will be calling on next door tomorrow and issuing a fine :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

I have ironing to do and then not a lot. It's going to be a hot week, so we'll stay inside or in the pool this week. No work for Grumpy, its too hot. He can't paint or do tiling, so he'll just have to have a week off ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Didn't get to bed until almost 5.00 and then just dozed.

Watering done, dogs going bonkers, all over the place, so something must be around.

Grumpy will probably have a snooze this afternoon. At least we have plenty of books 8-) 8-) And it's quite warm already  8-)

Enjoy your day x

Good morning, it is a lovely autumn morning. The builders actually arrived bang on 8am and work is proceeding on the bathroom ceiling. This week we are having the children today instead of Thursday, so Miss Osc is collecting Kellie from school and will drop her down at around 12 - she finishes early all this week and then it will be 1.30pm from Monday. Michael will come here himself when he finishes at 2.30pm. Kellie went to her first ballet class yesterday and apparently absolutely loved it. I am just about to finish sewing up her ballet cardigan, I am not happy with it. I could not find a pattern in any nearby shop so got one on the internet and it is not great. However, I’ll keep looking for a better one. Edward is playing golf this morning.

Morning all :D

Looks like we're in for another bright sunny day 8-)

Let's hope the fine does the trick Jan.

Glad Kellie enjoyed her ballet class Osc.

We had a good hydro session yesterday, nice and quiet, there were only two other people in the pool.

As you can see I'm up early, hairdresser appointment at 10.30 this morning and it takes me a while to get going these days. Planning to text Ed when she starts cutting so he can get a bus into town. He wants to get his hair cut too and his barber is opposite Waitrose so the idea is to meet there and we'll pop down to pay our Gran Canaria holiday balance and pick up a few bits on the way back to the car. The last time we tried wasn't too successful, it's a bit of a hill, will be a good test to see how I'm progressing.

Have a good day :D

Morning all
Jan I really don't get why they can't keep the dogs quiet, esp at night. Bring them into the house if needed. Do you think it's Jose's dogs that roam in your fields that set them off?
Osc, glad the builders arrived on time and fingers crossed it's all soon done. And good luck finding a pattern you like for Kellie
Jen, enjoy the hairdresser and hope you manage to get all the things done you want to x Glad you're still enjoying the hydro sessions

And I'm back to the usual / usuals :D so nothing exciting to report here

take care everyone and have a lovely day xxx

No idea what sets them off Ria. No other dogs around at the moment, the cows have gone too. Might have been a stoat or something else. Molly was inside.

They have been warned, last week, that the next time the police are called out, they will be issued with a fine. They seem to think they are above the law :? :?

Rather warm now, so the windows are shut, but Mira has such a high bark, we can hear it, as she barks at everything that goes along the track

Have a fun at the hydro Jen x

Morning all from the germ pit.
MrsC is recovering from her virus. However, son in law, his sister and our son now have it. It's a nasty little thing. The vomiting and runs are over in 24 to 48 hours, but it leaves you washed out afterwards
So we have a few films recorded and we'll watch one this pm.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all :)

Jan, let's hope that hitting them in the pocket, where it hurts, does the trick! ;)

Osc, I hope Kellie loves her ballet classes :) xx

Really glad the hydro sessions are going so well Jen :D

*Waves to Ria* :)

Crommers, that sounds horribly like Norovirus to me! :( If so it's still contagious for 48 hours after symptoms stop, just as a note of caution :(

Usual Tuesday here, town first, then a walk up to see D. I was going to do the ironing this afternoon, but I forgot to ask Mick to peg the washing out for me, during his lunch break, so it won't be dry until dinner time. It will wait until tomorrow 8-)

Love to all :) xx
