Afternoon all, not much point mentioning the weather apart from to say I'm well and truly fed up of Winter.

We took Billy for a long walk earlier and since coming home I've baked cookies - the Hob Nobs and the ginger cookies which Di posted the recipes of.
Mine and Tom's Big Bang Theory five season box set arrived yesterday so at least we have 2266 minutes of that to watch

At least they're cheering up your kitchen Saundra, poor things would be hidden if they were outside!

If I could express deliver you some of the biscuits I would, just what you need in this weather with a nice cuppa xx

No snow here (!!!) which amazes me when I see what other people have - we are nearly always worst hit! It is aazingly freezing cold though and horrible gale force winds which are blowing right full on to the front of the house, which makes it feel cold even though the heating is on pretty much all the time :( I dread to think how much I will have to pay .....

I could cry, I really could. All that kept me going through the long dark days of winter was the thought that come March, the days would get longer and warmer......and they haven't, and with each day that passes, we get closer to the longest day when they will start going back the other way    I suffer from SAD and am really struggling to cope with it this year - last years' constant rain didn't help matters either :(

Hope Kaz got to Bristol ok and that the Uni is lovely :)

Enjoy the time with your friend Ally x

Have a good Saturday all xx

Oh Gal :( it really is horrible isn't it....it'd be easier to bear if we knew that it would be balanced out by a good Spring and Summer wouldn't it but we can't even hope for that as it just seems to lead to disappointment doesn't it :?

Afternoon everyone :) Bristol went very well, thanks - I've just updated my thread from last night 8-)

Bitter cold here too, in fact we even had half an hour of snow here, although it stopped on the way. We can see it on the hills just outside town though, the fields on the top of Crickley Hill are solid white :?

Pepper had a fun time at "Nanna Doreen's" (MIL's) while we were away - she is spoilt rotten there and got a new bone

I know exactly what you mean Gal, I long for spring all winter and when it is as late as this year I get pretty depressed :? (((((x)))))

Ally I hope your friends have a lovely stay xxx

All that baking and cooking sounds lush - if anyone cares to send me any I'm up for it!! We're having beans and poached eggs on toast :P
