We're going out tomorrow night, a group from John's office and wives, to take some American visitors from the head office in Indiana to a country pub for a meal and drinks. Nothing posh I'm told.
I've been clothes shopping today, I wanted a top to wear with jeans and a pair of Converse. I had an idea of what I wanted, I was fancying a longish baggy cardigan, but couldn't find anything either down in town or over in Stafford this afternoon.

We went to Asda to do some food shopping tonight, I said to John that I'd have a quick look at the clothes and walked around the corner into the clothing section and there it was, right in front of me!

It says it's charcoal but it's more of a dark khaki.

I had a long black one like that and I wore it for work, but I snagged it on the corner of a display table and it laddered

I like that, it looks useful for the summer too, when you just want 'something' over a sleeveless tee shirt

Di, you're right - I actually tried it on over a sleeveless t shirt, I grabbed one off the rails on the way to the changing rooms to get an idea of how it would look.
It's a colour which would go well with a bit of a tan but I'm not optimistic of that happening.
