iv just been to morrissons and brought
a 6 pack of primrose plants lovely colours
for £3.50
and they will flower every year
also 2 bunches of daffs £1.00
but why dont they have leaves with them
beautifull day here but cold out of the sun

Saundra. Any plant that comes from a bulb (ie the daffs, tulips etc) should always be without leaves (or just a few) as the leaves need to be left behind so they can make enough energy and food for the bulb so the bulb can flower again next year. Tulips in shops usually have a few leaves but the producers will make sure some leaves remain on the bulb

meriad i ment i brought a bunch of cut daffs
to put in a vase
and you dont get any leaves with them these days
like you used to :lol: :lol:
