Such a lovely race, the Portuguese

Jose Felipe came up not so long ago, with eggs, lettuce and other bits and bobs, as our Easter present. They are away over Easter, so wanted to make sure we had our "thank you"

We were down the bar earlier, having dropped Felipe off and Grumpy helped Bertalina (who is 87) take her rubbish to the bin.

Back she came, 10 minutes later, with a bunch of flowers - for me The most gorgeous smelling roses, quite a few still in bud and 3 ginormous cala lilies

She'd tied them up too, with a lovely bow

That's just it Saundra. Bertalina and Asvaldo have nothing, but they often give us lemons and flowers, for helping them. That's all they have.
