I've been wondering when this would happen

Nineteen men and one woman have been arrested in Wakefield and charged with sex offences against two young girls.
My home town has a large Pakistani community and so cynical though it may be I've been waiting for our very own grooming scandal.
No names or other information have been given about the accused; and if forced I'd guess there won't be any reporting of the trial either.

West Yorkshire police: “This large scale enquiry will be ongoing for some time and we will update residents when we can and it is legally appropriate to do so."

So that could be any time after the 12th of never. Which residents - there are only about 325,000 of them? And in which areas - the city covers some 130 sq mi (about 11.5 x 11.5)?

It is all so wishy-washy that it might as well not have been announced.
