The Toe

Postby lissie » 19 Mar 2013, 11:46

We are back already from the hospital and OH is now doing what he has been told to do
and resting on the bed and he has to keep the leg up at all times :(
The Hospital is so nice and the staff so friendly and helpful (Herne Bay) and they don`t charge
for parking!!!!
He has had the bone broken in his toe and then straightened and in a splint.
For the next fortnight he cannot walk any distance just to the loo at first.
How i am going to get him to obey that i don`t know.
I began to wonder if i would be able to take him as i have felt awful all week.
Aches, pains, no appetite and not wanting to do anything.
I have read the forums, news, emails etc but could`nt stir myself to post anywhere :)
Good job i had the flu jab otherwise it could have been worse :(
I feel a bit better today but did`nt really need the drive to the hospital as it
was 45 mins each way.
