Did anyone see yesterdays? I saw the beginning, mum, dad, 2 young children from Wales. Did they or didn’t they?

They didn't just yet according to the BBC update:

Since filming in Australia Jayne has graduated and is now a fully qualified social worker. She has gained employment in a great team and is thoroughly enjoying it.

She has submitted her skills assessment to the Australian association of social workers to verify that she is qualified. Unfortunately their assessment timescales are much longer than other professions so she will probably be waiting up to 9 months for that! This is the first step before applying for a visa.

Australia is still very much their long term plan but they’ve got lots of saving to do before they start to make the move.

The couple yesterday, with the adopted son with Attachment Disorder, seemed dead set on staying in the UK at the end of their stay, but the update said they're trying to go now! I hope the little one will adapt. It did seem as though potentially they could have a great income in Oz, once they got settled. Not always an easy decision..... :?

That really surprised me Kaz! The finances didn't work in their favour either if both didn't work and I wouldn't have thought that jobs in the film and TV industry would be ten a penny and anyway it didn't seem to make sense for both to be working full time to achieve the life they wanted out there if it meant not having parental support for the little boy, iirc she was at home all day in the UK to be there for the children.

Yes, the better income was only if they both worked - not realistic with a little bit with SN to settle in..... :?
