Round here too. We've had puddles in the fields that have been there for months. There's so much water in the ground it can't take any more.

It's so dry here that the rain we had his weekend just sat in the cracks and puddled on top. It was too dry to soak in.
Send your rain over. Not too much though. ;)

It's like that here too Cromwell. We live next to the common and it was lovely last week when it was so cold as the ground froze and made it pleasant to walk on again, it's now back to bog-like conditions now that the temperature has risen a little :?

I have a permanent pond at the bottom of my garden - if it's dry for a few days, it disappears but then one shower later and it's back - the ground just cannot cope with more wet weather :( Nothing is able to grow in that area - I planted lots of colourful plants at the start of the spring last year and not one thing has had the chance to flourish - every single thing has died, drowned.

That is a shame Gal, it's nice to have the plants to look forward to isn't it :?

Is this Winter ever going to end? I hate Winter anyway but they way this one is dragging on is just a cruel joke :x
