Dinner tonight

Postby JanB » 08 Nov 2018, 20:43

Is a bit of a talking point.

Home made pasty, lovely. Proper chips, lush. Peas, fine.

The talking point in our household is gravy with the chips

And brown sauce on the pasty

Oh, and fried onions :D :D

Bolognese - but with oven chips, not spaghetti!

depending on the meal; chips with either mayo or cheesy sauce or fried egg :D But saying that, I love gravy so could easily do chips and gravy as well but would dip the chips in the gravy vs pour the gravy over otherwise they go all soggy ;)

They do go soggy Ria, so some have gravy and others don't

I think it's more of a Northern thing isn't it.

Ria, when you're next in Birmingham there's a chip place opened in Grand Central and they're excellent. They do gravy and you can either have it poured on or in a pot for dipping.
