My brother has just bought a house in Spain

He's lived in Tenerife, and the other islands for about 25 years and eventually has decided to buy, rather than rent.

We'll be "neighbours"

A woman came to our door last night claiming to be deaf and asking (written on a card) if I would buy
one of her drawings to earn money to support her kids. She had a large folder under her arm. Another
card said that if I wouldn't buy a drawing would I give her £2 or £5!!!! I told her I wasn't interested but part
of me felt guilty. Later I was looking at FB and there is a forum that I joined called Faversham Matters. People
have been posting on there about this woman and there is a man doing the same in other areas of the town.
One woman felt that the man was looking at her house too intently and he was only picking out certain houses.

I think I will report it to the police today in case some poor old person gets conned. (I know I am old but I am not
easily taken in by a sob story)

Lissie, yes you should definitely report that. It's horrible that you can't trust people to be honest about something like that. The man you mentioned is definitely a worry :?

Saturday's wedding was lovely, Kerry looked beautiful! It was so good to catch up with cousins too.

What a journey though! We left home at a time which should've given us 90 minutes spare; we arrived with less than 20 minutes spare. Remember the start of Four Weddings and a Funeral when Charles and Scarlet are driving and late for the wedding? Yep, we just about re-enacted that in Norfolk
