Mine's the Paperwhite reading one Saundra, mustn't grumble as I'd used it daily for over four years.

I have a thing called Calibre on my W10 tablet and it will read Kindle books if I download them to Kindle for PC v 1.17.

It is a bit of a faff, but it works.

Ria, Kindle for PC is the app and it reads Kindle books directly.

Trouble is that it means having two book cases and sets of shelves and it is limited to the file types it reads. Calibre does the lot.

Just got down to the bar, 2 slurps of beer, phone rang.

Your wardrobe is on it's way :?

They were supposed to ring me a day or so beforehand, so I could have the cash ready. But no, she rang to say they were on their way

Dashed into Ourique, got some money, but not enough, but the wardrobe looks good in the bedroom 8-) 8-)

Just means we have to go to Castro Verde on Monday to pay the balance    I'll get some cheques, to pay the balance, for the new window - still waiting- an the dentist.

Blasted wasps :cute: :cute: :cute: :cute:

We've been inundated with them this year and one little bugger just stung me - on the inside of my upper arm   He's now dead and I smell of onions

I lived with all the windows open for weeks on end and have only seen one wasp; and even then when I told it to p1ss off it did.

They might have been happy when it was warm, but we have had nights down to low single figures and that could have done for most of them.

We've not seen many wasps either. More bees, but we do have some lavender in the garden so you'd expect that.
