The lurgy's back!

Postby debih » 15 Mar 2013, 15:46

I have felt fine all day and then on my way back from picking L up my throat started to hurt.

Now I feel all shaky and cold again!

You need to take things easy for a while, Debih.

These complaints can last for a long time unless you look after yourself.

I don't need to tell you what to take, but I do know that rest is sometimes necessary.

Hope you feel better soon.

Agree with Kaz..lots of rest, fluids and parrots eat em all.

Tell Mick he has to lavish care and attention on you all weekend or you'll end up in hospital.

Yep, I'd agree with that, it wasn't until I realised that I had to give in and take to the bed that it started to work its way through. Like Kaz, it's been a very very long time since I felt so ill. I know it was easier for me with no work to go to and only the two of us in the house, but if you could even take two days in bed or on the couch doing nothing it would help. I was surprised at how much I could sleep during the day and still sleep at night. It's definitely not one of those doses that you can work your way through - the virus part of it is what gets you, and you can take nothing for that.

Oh Deb :(

I agree with the others, dose yourself up, take paracetemol and you need to rest...good, proper rest. Get Mick to help you and rope S in too.
