Debih hope you're not too bad this morning.
I'm not feeling brilliant but am trying to fight it off, will be downing more vits soon. Bb's off to the Isle of Wight again, don't think I need to do much.

Oh dear, I do hope you haven't both got the flu I had, and Osc had - there is a lot of it about and it is very nasty. Two weeks on and I'm still not back to full fitness :?

A lot of people are ill at the moment, there was an ambulance outside Sainsbury's again yesterday, the third time I've seen one there over the last month or so - the girl behind the counter in the cafe said they had had five ambulances out to people over the past few weeks, far more than normal - mostly people fainting! I think it's this flu going round, it is easy to shrug it off as just a bad cold and try to keep going. If Mick hadn't been around to come and get me last week when I overdid it they would have had to call one for me too

Take care both!!!! ((((((((((((((((((((((x))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Lissie please don't be cross, I'm sorry I didn't see your post. I went to bed after I posted, and didn't notice it this morning - I'm not feeling well and have been busy.
I hope you're feeling better this morning, look after yourself (((((Lissie)))))

Oh no everyone, hope you are feeling better soon. I hate those ones where you feel fine at 3 and in bed by 6.

If you can get your hands on manuka honey, it's fantastic to use in a lemon honey drink.

Ive been having it on toast (makes very expensive toast) to finally shift mine. I've had it for near 2 weeks now.i don't know why I was so stubborn for the first week and a half.

Kaz, there does seem to be a lot of flu around this year doesn't there. I know Tom had it over Christmas and New Year and he was so poorly. It's been particularly bad in the US from what I hear too.

Yes there is an awful lot of it Jo, they were saying on the local news that the hospital admissions have really spiked - in S Wales as well  It is a nasty one, not to be underestimated - as I discovered to my cost

I will take up my free flu jab next winter!

I always have mine and although I had a cold over Christmas I didn't come down with the full blown flu that Tom had :?

Well, I seem to be feeling fine now. I wonder if I was just really tired - I slept well last night.

I had my flu jab so hopefully that will keep it at bay.

I have just been in school looking at attendance figures. Before Christmas the average weekly attendance figure was 98.9%. Then between the Christmas holiday and Feb half term it went down to 63.5%. There were loads of children off with the flu or the vomiting bug. In a small school (57 pupils) just having one child off ill makes a massive difference to our figures but in one week over 30 children were off ill at the same time!!!

Hope Lissie and Di are feeling much better now.
