Btw got 'Before I go to Sleep' today in a charity shop, can't remember offhand who's read it and what they thought, will do a search when I have time ;)

And 'Before I Go To Sleep' is being made into a film this year with Nicole Kidman, Colin Firth and Mark Strong. An excellent book and will make a great film. I hope you can keep your own images in your head when you read it Di and this hasn't spoilt it for you!

I think 'Gone Girl' will probably be made into a film too and I'm already doing the casting!

I don't know if I would be able to watch the film of Before I go to sleep.

The whole point about the book is the ending - and if you know the ending it will spoil it.

I got the book "Call the Midwife" from the library, and as a fan of the tv series, I'm enjoying the extra buzz of putting the actors' faces on the various characters!

I told Bb he'd probably enjoy Before I go to Sleep so he took it with him yesterday. He had to go to work on the Isle of Wight, this time of year there's only 1 ferry an hour and it takes about 40 minutes, so quite a bit of time wasted. He's a fast reader and is about halfway through so he must like it!

I'm buying the Call the Midwife books, as recommended by Kaz, when I'm over in June. :D :D

One of things I adore doing with mum when she's over here is going to the markets for books with her.
I'll be on the lookout for the midwife books..all the better if I only pay 50 cents or a euro for one.

If no success then the UK it is.

Don doesn't know it yet..but I'm booking maximum luggage allowance for my flight home.

I've just read A Widow for One Year by John Irving. Loved it. Now I've started on the new Kate Atkinson's Life After Life and so far it's really good. I have 51 unread books on my Kindle at the moment and it will take me at least a year to get through them all, so I really need to stop adding more and more.
