Saundra I'm so sorry, I missed your post earlier. I'm not sure about a racecourse, it is only a small town - I will google in a minute to see I'm sure there will be jobs aplenty in Nottingham itself or even Newark

I apologise for my panda-murdering tendencies Jo, it was only a theory I agree they are very cute indeed and I saw the pair that London Zoo had in the 70's - have forgotten their names

You were right Saundra, there is a racecourse I remember the train stopping at Newark when I used to travel between York and London by train sometimes, when I lived in York

I think there might be a train that goes directly to Nottingham from Gloucester, the Lincoln train, but if not you can definitely go via Birmingham then change as I've done that A lot of trains going to South Wales come through Gloucester as we're not very far from Cardiff
