Ha! I'm watching the Meet Thread but we're in the middle of booking a May/June trip and once that's sorted I can commit

I know that I am not supposed to be on this thread, laugh that it is, but didn't any of you girls do double rope?

It was all the rage in our streets.... well it was for the girls. I had to teach my daughter and her friends how to do it, but as we didn't have a 'fourth' we had to tie the ropes to the gateposts.

Is that when there are two ropes swinging both ways WM?

That's the one Fugi. The 'fourth' goes in and the 'third' comes out and goes to be one of the ends. She switches with with the end to twirl the ropes and the end becomes the 'fourth'.... and on it goes. There can be loads more, but the process is the same.
