Him: Weren't you enjoying this last week?

Him: Oh yes, I came and joined you last week halfway through, didn't I?
Me: Yes.
Him: Is that Pauline whatsername?
Me: Yes.
Him: Blimey, she's lost weight.
Me: Yes.
Him: Was she in this last week?
Me: Yes.
Him: Was she as slim in it last week as this week?
Me: Yes.
Him: Didn't she do those adverts last year for some slimming thing?
Me: Yes.
Him: She's done well losing all that weight, hasn't she?
Me: Yes.
Him: You're very monosyllabic tonight sweetheart.
Me: Yes. I'm trying to watch f***in Broadchurch!!!
