Morning - a freezing start to the day with just some snow flakes flying about but nothing settling; but they are expecting it to get even colder tonight and more snow. But it's the wind that is just so horrid. The walk across the Thames this morning though was something else - goodness that wind was so freezing and bitingly cold; not nice!

Will be at my desk all day so quite OK with keeping out the wind, but I'd much rather be home and cuddled up on the sofa with the cats :D

Ooh green polka dots sound lovely Loz :)
Lissie hope Mr L's backache improves; I know it's hard but moving around a bit might help.
Kaz enjoy the fresh air, really don't think anyone will be choosing to go out in what we have here, unless they were in training for an expedition :D
Eldest's choices are all 'S', Sussex, Swansea, Southampton :)

I think we really are lucky here today - I've been down the garden to the bins and it really isn't too bad at all, and the sun keeps coming out! Chilly but bright 8-)

I hope everyone with the bad weather keeps warm (((((((x))))))))

I've done my houseworky stuff now - hoovering, washer on, polished the living room, wiped the kitchen tops round, cleaned the downstairs loo (upstairs beds and baths can wait until tomorrow) and am about to get ready to go out xxxx

Di good luck to 'eldest' with his choices :D I guess two of those are reasonable travelling time to come to you for the odd weekend, but Swansea woud be a bit of a schlep :) B's three top are NTU, Bristol and Hartpury, in that order....she can take her pick with her marks (her course is exam-free so unless her last couple of assignments are terrible she's already in) so I think it will be NTU - which is the furthest away of the three but them's the breaks :? ;)

I will miss her terribly, but as long as she's happy I'll be fine 8-)

He's doing physics and maths so the exams are a bit hard!
Tbh we're hoping he gets one of his first two choices, it would do him the world of good to move away ;) You have to want want what's best for them don't you, however hard.
