Good morning Monday

Brrrr - its cold out there. We had snow last night - not loads but enough to cover the road, which means having to grit this morning (not that I go out you understand - far too cold. And anyway, I don't need to leave until 9am. Mick was out there though).

Work for me this morning - I have to drive all the way to Chinley (way up in the Peaks) just to take a photo for the stupid newsletter. Then nip into the office to check on something before coming home and pottering. I have some school questionnaires to go through and put on a spreadsheet ready for a meeting with the head next week.

S is at cadets tonight so I shall nip to see a friend whilst she is waiting for her. I would usually go for a swim but its far too cold.

I don't think I'll be venturing far today. Apart from walking Jasper I think I'll stay in by the fire and do some sewing

Glad to get back home after the obligatory dog-walk.

For once we in the south apparently have the worst of the weather. There's quite a blizzard going on out there and has been for some time. Needless to say it's pretty chilly I suppose in the interests of Minnie's recuperation I will have to take her out at some point but will wait and see how it is later...and later! All the time she couldn't walk anywhere it's been fine.

Bb has to go back to the Isle of Wight and should be back again around lunchtime before going out again. According to the local radio the ferries from Portsmouth are out, but they didn't mention ours so we assume they're running ok. So long as he doesn't get marooned over there, I'm only doing him a cheese roll
For me it's Mondayish h-word to tackle.

Morning all--bitterly cold here and blowing a gale
I put my lovely flowers in the hall as it is cooler there and this
morning when i got up i was greeted by the most beautiful
smell of Freesias They have just opened up.
Nothing much to do today --Just a few bits from Sainsburys.
OH is feeling sorry for himself--he has really painful backache
and has hardly slept as he can`t get comfortable.
I think i will dose him up with paracetemol and tell him to stay
in bed for a while.

Morning everyone It's cold here, but not as cold as it is in the extreme south and south east - the sun is out and it is dry, so despite it being cold I will be going out. I'm still tired and not up to full speed, but I need exercise and fresh air so will be going out later.........well wrapped up

Becky is ill, so no college today, she's staying in bed Hope she's better by Wednesday as we are going to Nottingham to look round NTU - her main uni choice
