Talking about good neighbours, I rang Carlos, our nice neighbour
to see if his English tv was working,. He checked and said his was fine (we both have erm, dodgy ish boxes, with a dish) so I said I'd ring Sergio, who installed it for us. No answer - but then again, I wouldn't expect him to get up on our roof in the wind and rain.
But Carlos came up
to check what he could and as the rain stopped for a while, climbed up onto the roof, to check the dish 
We almost got it, but the fixing is a little loose, so we need a drill, bracket and other stuff tomorrow. He spent an hour, trying to fix it, bless his cotton socks
Had a beer, as the rain came down again and then, when it stopped said he'd go back up, as he knew I wanted to watch the athletics and masterchef. Sent him on his way, with many thanks.
We'll try Sergio tomorrow, but the rain is set until Monday at the earliest.
We have Portuguese tele, which has a zillion channels, many of then in English and I have books, so we'll be okay.
