Kitchen floor tiles

Postby miasmum » 09 Mar 2013, 12:19

As an insurance claim we are having our kitchen floor tiles ripped up and replaced, deep joy

We have a problem deciding what colour. Our units are beech, our wall tiles are multi coloured and the work tops are very dark grey.

These the the tiles we have to choose between

Currently we have almost the same as 30N, but I like 30G and Tim likes 30A, your thoughts

Mine are very similar to 30G....I have gloss cream cupboards, three shades of cream/brown tiles and a dark mottle brown worktop....

It looks a bit different now as I have changed the bread bin and have a different kettle now

I vote for G too :)

Gal that's my worktop, is yours glossy? :)
We have matt cream units, tiles in shades of cream and mocha, Gal's worktop and dark grey floor tiles that don't really go but were a very rush buy. I'm hoping to replace them this year.

No it's matt with a sort of silvery 'thread' running through the mottle, you can only see it close up. Tom did his kitchen a year or two before mine, and he got white units with a glossy black worktop. I knew he'd regret it, every time there is a drop of water, you have to dry it, not just wipe it. I originally chose a wood effect top, like with knots in it? But I changed the order when I struggled to find a floor tile that went with everything. I think mine is called Cappucino from B&Q?

I think this is the wood one
