Morning all :)

Bright and sunny here, but we did have a sprinkling of frost earlier.

We're off to do a bit of shopping later. Don't need much, just a few bits, mainly fresh veggies. Hopefully will get it all in M&S, don't really fancy tackling a big supermarket today.

Have a good day :)

Good Morning all.
A lovely sunny morning but thick frost still everywhere.
The roads are very icy so will wait before i go out.
Enough stew left from yesterday for Don tonight so only need something
for myself. I have smoked salmon and crab in the fridge so might use that up
with some blinis i bought (don`t know why except Xmas madness)
Have a good day and stay warm.

Jo - I'd left lots of hints for Santa as to which books I would like and he delivered the three I asked for. 8-)

Terence Stamp's The Ocean Fell Into The Drop.

Antony Sher's Year Of The Fat Knight

Levison Wood's Eastern Horizons: Hitchhiking The Silk Road.

I've also got Penny Vincenzi's blockbuster A Perfect Heritage to read too.

Happy. :D 8-) :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Ooh I fancy the Levison Wood one myself!

One of the most memorable books I've read is Danny Bent's You've Gone Too Far This Time, Sir! He was a teacher in the UK, teaching his class about a school in India...so he decided to cycle to it.

Afternoon all, there was a very hard frost overnight and it has been sunny but really cold today. We got up early and headed into town after breakfast to have a look at the sales, did well. It does pay to get up and out early, by the time we were going for the bus home at 1.30, town had got very busy. Nothing planned for the evening except watching telly - have spotted a documentary about Clint Eastwood on Sky Arts that might be interesting, and we have a few recorded programmes too.

Ally, I got Miss Osc the Penny Vincenzi book - she fully understands that it gets passed to me when she is finished with it

Osc - I got the book (in mint condition) in a wee Irish bar in Nerja Tuesday evening.

I've to return it when I've finished with it...good excuse to go back! 8-) 8-)
