Alison was worried about the breathing but there's nothing there at all, so it must just be the steroid-panting.The bad bit is a massively enlarged liver (she's been at the vodka), which the drugs cause, but we don't know if it was enlarged before. Also it can be 'just' a side effect, which gradually disappears as the drugs wear off, or it can lead to a permanent problem. It's exactly like Cushings disease but is purely cause by the steroids and so should wear off with reduction of them.
We're now onto 5mg tablets of the steroids, She will have 2 every other day for 2 doses, then 1 every other day for 2 doses, then (hopefully) stop
And fingers crossed the effects will start to subside.She's also staying on the antibiotics, because she has no immunity it's a precaution I think.
So she can carry on getting better now
