Good Morning Thursday

Postby Kaz » 07 Mar 2013, 08:44

Morning all :)

Another grey gloomy day here, where did that gorgeous spring weather disappear to? I'm taking it easy today as I coughed a lot last night. Becky has a cough but has gone to college - hope she isn't coming down with my lurgy as she is going to Crufts tomorrow as part of her course.

Would have been weightwatchers tonight but Mick has an out of hours job to do at 7pm so won't be able to pick us up, and I'm not walking home after what hapoened yesterday, so I won;t be going.......I've been on our scales anyway and have lost 6lbs this week

Thinking of Di this morning - they have an appt at the vets at 9am to find out the results of Minnie's tests ((((((((((((((((((((((((((Di, Minnie and Bb)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Have a good day everyone xxx

Good luck Di
Hope you feel better soon Kaz
Morning Ally, send some rain this way. I could handle it at night quite happily

Well, our fantastically warm summer just keeps on giving. Drought has just been declared, but so far no mention yet of water rationing. I dare say that wont be too far away if the rains don't come soon. We have had 3 days where it has drizzled for maybe 30 mins since Christmas.

Mode the lawn today, it was starting to look a little unkept, and we don't want to look like the messy ones of the street just yet. :D

A lady walking her dog called over the fence today, enquiring about our vege garden, commenting on the flowers I've taken out yada yada, Lovely lady, but a little off putting when I don't know who she is, but she seemed to know so much about me and my family. I feel like I'm in a goldfish bowl sometimes, there is definitely a gossip network here among the longtime residents, still, she is going to raid her garden for me and toss over the fence seeds and plants. :D

Sasha is settling into kindy nicely, I dropped her off there today for a whole session. Yay!! Gives me about 2 hours in the afternoon 2 times a week with only 1 child, who hopefully will be asleep. Oliver gets to stay and play once a week if I am there and sign on as a parent help. Yay, no more playcentre. Only, he couldn't today, as a cat had wee'ed on his school bag.

Morning :)

We're back and it's good news :D Thank you all so much, those famous vibes have been working overtime for the last five weeks.
The problems now are all due to side effects of the drugs, not to anything else. Will put proper details on pets board.
Not out of the woods as these side effects can lead to longer term problems but might not, so will not be worrying about that for now. For now, slowly but surely, she's getting better :D

It's pouring down here, very gloomy. Weka it's good to read of your lovely weather, like us you're often stuck with dreary! And brilliant result with the children too :)
Kaz and Ally losing weight is always the silver lining to being poorly but really it's nicer to be well. Kaz I hope Becky's ok I expect she's looking forward to Crufts.

Morning everyone

Great news about Minnie Di xxxxx

Piddling down here - grey skies, more rain to come :)

So unless we get a phone call from the opticians, we're staying in  And there's lots of footie later, so all good :D

Lovely to lose all that weight Kaz, but not good either. Take it easy still and hope B enjoys Crufts.

Hope all the poorly ones feel better soon xx

Have a good day everyone x

Good morning, all.

Not a very pleasant one this morning but it could be worse.

I won't be doing anything exciting today - just a few odd jobs that need attention.

Hope you ppotly ones feel better soon.

Take care.

Di, that is fabulous news :D

Good morning all! It's windy and raining here  I've been to the gym and I'm waiting to see if the rain stops or at least slows down before taking Billy out. He's reluctant even to go in the garden anyway, he can't be tempted off the doorstep

Just got some housework to do today and I could do with doing the big shop tonight.

Have a good day everyone, and take it easy Kaz! xx

Morning all, just popping in quickly as Michael is here, and so I'm busy. Great news about Minnie, Di! Kaz, I also lost 6 lbs, but with a little bit of work it almost all went back on quite quickly  Please take it easy today or Auntie Osc will be very very cross ;) It's misty and dreary here today, but little boys don't know that and Grandad has already been out in the garden playing golf and football  Have a good day everyone.
