It would probably bleach with a soak.

I have tried bleach on previous disasters and it never QUITE gets things right...... there's always a hint of grey even after using whitening powders.

I might dye everything by hand..... I have a really big pan somewhere.

Or there's a product called "run away" that will take the colour out. I've not used it personally, but flat ate in London used it with success when she did the same thing.

Weka, thank you, thank you! ((((Weka)))).

I googled and it is Dylon Colour Safe Run Away. It has to be worth a go.

yes it was a dylon dye and it was black. It just seemed to cling to the rubber door seal and it took ages to wipe it all off. I did follow the instructions but maybe I did something wrong

I must say that the idea of using the washing machine as a dying machine does worry me a bit. I am prone to cock-ups with some things and I just know that it will go wrong.

I know that my big pan works, I have already used it.
