Good morming Sunday

Postby Aggers » 03 Mar 2013, 07:36

Good morning Sunday....

Just back from a brisk walk with Prince.

There's a slight frost but it's sunny and it looks like it's going to be a good day for gadding about.

Hope you are all feeling well.

Morning Aggers, morning all :)
Same old. same old here, dull, grey, cold, windy.

No particular plans, a dog walk would be lovely...Minnie and I had a min-walk yesterday, round the corner then she stopped but looked across the road. There's a cut-through, past the backs of houses and their gates, so we went across there, she got as far as their garages before turning round. That's a bit further than Andy's :)
Oh and bought her a whole huge turkey leg in Morrisons :D Cooked the thigh in the Remoska, that should keep her going a few days! There's some lovely jellified juice too, so she will have gravy :)
Hope everyone has a good day
Di

Morning all. Not a bad start to the morning - at least it's dry!

No real plans for the day - I really ought to go to the allotment and I want to take Millie out onto the moors fora while but I also quite fancy having a lazy day so the allotment might have to wait until next week.

Good news about Minnie there Di. :D

Morning everyone

Thanks Vic, we've already had plenty  with more to come. And very strong winds too. A day for staying inside.

I'll be watching the athletics and reading - that's about it

Oh and e-mailing the place where we bought our washing machine - as it went rattle, rattle bang yesterday

Glad that Minnie was able to walk a bit further and hope she enjoys her turkey leg.

Have a good day everyone and stay safe, warm and dry Vic xx

Good Morning all :D
At last the sun is out and it is warmer
Glad Minnie is feeling a bit better, Di.
When you say you give her turkey it surprises me as
Milo (rip lovely boy) was very ill one Xmas and we had
to get the vet out on Boxing Day at great expense
He asked what he had been eating and we said we had
given him quite a bit of our Xmas turkey the day before.
He said it was too rich for him and to stick to chicken in
future.
He was a Tibetan Terrier so maybe it was something to do
with the breed.

We'll have to wait and see Lissie, as with everything we give her, but she's fine so far.
She's not getting very much at a time (about a tablespoon, finely chopped); turkey's supposed to be ok for the extra protein so fingers crossed :)

Hmmmmm Mick's old collie Scooby was very ill indeed after some turkey (awful runny tum and sickness) but Pepper is fine, she loves it.............perhaps it depends on the individual dog? I hope it does Minnie some good Di 8-) :)

I'm late on parade this morning - I'm not at all well, been awake half the night not able to breathe properly as my sinuses are very swollen and painful - every time I fell asleep I even dreamt I couldn't breathe and woke up with a start! I have a sore throat and am all achey and shivery :? :? I'm still in bed at the moment and am not sure if I'll bother to get up - Mick has already made himself and H some breakfast and offered to raid the freezer for bits for lunch (coincidentally I have some lovely turkey breast steaks in there ;) ) so I might leave him to it and stay where I am :? I might take a throw downstairs and make myself comfy on the sofa later - we'll see............. :?

I hope everyone with rotten weather stays warm and safe, and hugs for any poorlies either canine, feline or human! :) ((((((x))))))
