No I was on about the restrictions which came in with paracetamol because of the extreme danger it presents. Without the antidote, now shipping with paracetamol, it is absolutely lethal in overdose quantities.

What I find happens is that when a patient requires large amounts of simple over counter tablets, for long term use as directed by the doctor, then the doctor prescribes them to avoid questions being asked and the quantities being refused over the counter.

There is something about Solpadene which I have never had with any other cocodamol variant. When I get a migraine it works and works very quickly. I don't use it for anything else really as I believe pain is its own warning about problems and you don't suppress it.
