Morning Ally, morning all :)
A slightly paler grey out there today, it's nice to see daylight nice and early though whatever the colour.

I promised Minnie I'd be up good and early so I was down here by 6.30 and she's had a small meal so she's a bit happier :) I've now got chicken breast cooking so she can smell that too.
Bb has to go over to the Isle of Wight today and tomorrow, so he'll have to leave around 9 I think, I shall be going round the bend soon. Actually I feel a bit better today, maybe because we got to see the vet.

Glad to hear your cough's on the way out Ally :)
Hope everyone else is ok and has a good day

Good morning Friday

Morning all. Its really chilly this morning - it was freezing last night. I was so cold I couldn't get to sleep, but didn't want to get out of bed for a blanket so lay awake until well past 2am. I'm shattered this morning.

About to go to school in 10 minutes or so for a quick catch up with the head and then home to do some hwork and make my pudding for tomorrow. I am going to have a go at making a Krasekake - I bought the tins from the Lakeland sale and I have made my almond paste ready for rollling out. I will put a photo on later - success or not!

Off out for a meal tonight with some friends to celebrate our birthdays - 3 of us have birthdays in less than a week of each other and whilst mine was a "normal" birthday one of my friends was 30 and another was 50 so we are celebrating tonight. I mustn't drink too much as we are out for a meal tomorrow night as well!!!!
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

Debih, we had a morning thread going already so I merged yours into it ;) :)

Morning everyone - Happy St David's Day :) I think of March as Spring despite it not officially starting until late in the month so I'm pleased when it arrives :D

It's the last day of Mick's leave - we're going out for lunch and then later he's dropping Becks over at her dad's and picking H up for the weekend :) Becks hasn't seen her dad since Christmas and he's taking her to Whipsnade tomorrow to see the wolves :D We'll have a nice weekend here with just H I'm sure 8-)

Ally I'm glad your cough is better :D

Di, hugs for you and for Minnie (((x)))

Debih have a good night out - but not too good ;)

Saundra I hope he has a nice time :D

Love to all, enjoy your day everyone xxxx

Good morning, all.

RABBITS *

Another new month. Spring getting a little closer (I hope).

We have a speaker coming this morning to tell us all that we should drink more water. (water? - what a hope!!!)

Have a lovely day.

*when we were young we were told to say 'rabbit' on the first day of any month having a R in it. Ever heard of it?

I've heard it as "White rabbits, white rabbits" too :)

Good morning all, it's a grey one here and there's quite a cold wind.
Hoovering to be done shortly and I've taken the cover off the sofa bed to wash but it wouldn't fit into the washing machine so I need to get the upholstery tool on the carpet cleaner onto it.
Tonight I'm off to the pub/restaurant/hotel around the corner for a night out with some neighbours, tomorrow night it's the men's turn  It's funny going in there, it's a bit like a a pub off a soap opera in that there're always some of your neighbours in there (but then one of them is the manager of it). The last time we had a night out there were people from 7 houses on our part of the close in there which is quite something when there're only 11 houses up this end

Hope it warms up for your son Saundra!

Have fun tonight Deb!

Good morning all. Michael has been here since 9am, and has run Grandad ragged in the garden playing golf. I've tidied up and had my shower, and shortly Mr. Osc will be going out to play golf with his friends, so it will just be Michael and myself. Michael is currently watching Peppa Pig on Mr. Osc's ipad, then we will go to the shop and post a letter before lunch. I think the playground might be on the agenda for the afternoon.

Going to a 50th birthday tonight, hope it's not too late a night as I slept badly last night - woke from one of those "being chased" dreams and was awake for two hours, then got another hour during which I had a dream about a very garbled phone conversation with Mr. Osc's older sister, which can happen in real life too   Have a good day everyone :)
