I remember her in Cranford! She was good in that :)

I was a bit shocked when it was first announced, and said so on Facebook, but I suppose we have to wait and see, as it is certainly a bold move :)

She might grow on me as the Doc. Missy did, as the Master, and it took me a while to get my head around her - I kept seeing her as the lunatic man eating character from Green Wing!

The last time I watched Dr Who he had frizzy hair and was dressed in a multi-coloured patchwork quilt outfit.

I had never watched Doctor Who in my life until the rather delicious Christopher Eccleston and his long swishy coat made an appearance. Shallow..but true.

I am delighted at Jodie being chosen. :D :D

I've never seen her in anything, hadn't even heard of her.

Dr Who used to be on constantly in our house, Joe especially loved it, but I think the first few Peter Capaldi episodes were watched and then interest was lost.

When they first resurrected it, the combination of Bille Piper and Christopher Eccleston was excellent, but once David Tennant arrived, I stopped watching it. No offence to David Tennant, he is an excellent actor, but Eccleston set the bar very high indeed.

Chris Ecclestone is gorgeous! I also have a soft spot for DT, but having said all that I have loved the Capaldi incarnation 8-) 8-) 8-)
