Let us face facts. The people trying to come over need to be discouraged. To do that we need to be harsh but the EU can't be harsh to the underdog and, essentially, doesn't want to.
The EU countries have a problem. They have an ageing population and huge social programmes which must be funded by the workers, not the retiree's. So far the EU thinks it can just keep on letting immigrants come in and, hopefully, they'll go away when they've made enough and head home so a new bunch can come in. This is the EU thinking with European values, i.e. everyone will want to go home when they have made their bundle. This has been going on for decades in the EU.
Germany, on the other hand, knows different. Their Turkish community is slowly taking over parts of Germany and they feel powerless to stop them. The easier border controls are, the more are going to come, until Turkey is a better proposition, pay and benefits wise, than Germany.
With Turkey, Ergogan apart, it might have happened. Somalia? Eritrea? Sudan? Not a chance! There are more people in poverty in Africa than in the entire EU, by a factor of 2:1 and their populations are exploding. It doesn't matter how fast we take them, they have replaced what we take in six months in just one day.
Don't believe me? Have a
look. Just sit and watch it for 30 seconds. Then remember that there are 86,400 seconds in a day.
The attitude of the EU is nonsense. These people need to return in rags with no mobile phones and half starved. That is the only way and I do mean the only way, to make them stop, take stock and work to make their own countries and people wealthier and with a higher living standard.
Taking illegal migrants because they _want_ a better life is just like pouring fuel on the fire.
