We got married over 2 days - well, if you're going to do it, do it properly so I had to have 2 dresses and now we have two days to celebrate

Because we were both divorced, we couldn't get married in church and Grumpy really wanted a church one, as he had a registry office the first time round. Then the registrars went on strike, so would only work 5 days a week and my parents wouldn't be in the same town as each other, let alone the same room

So my lovely mum in law came up with the idea of a two day wedding

We had the registry office official thing on 25th, with my father, step mum and a couple of friends, then a booze-up in the pub opposite afterwards. And a meal out that night.

On 26th, we had a church blessing, with a friend doing the official bit and another friend sang "You've only just begun" by the Carpenters with another friend on guitar. To this one, my mum, grandmother and a load of family and friends came. With a proper reception afterwards.
