Good afternoon everyone.

Sorry I'm late but I've been busy sorting out a few computer problems - satisfactorily, I'm pleased to say.

I was amused to read Alli's account of watching the thunderstorm. My mother was like that, and I remember
standing out in the garden with her at night watching the lightening. That's why I have never been afraid of
thunder storms, and used to laugh at our neighbours who used to hide in their cellar.

It's turned out to be a lovely day now, and we must think of somewhere nice to go after lunch.

My mum is absolutely terrified of thunder Aggers.
When we were young she'd be in the cupboard under the stairs whilst dad told us it was only God moving his furniture.

It has been known Di, for mum not to answer the phone when I ring her if it's thunder and lightening.

Of course I don't know this when I ring as I assume she's out..she tells me later.

even to this day i turn tv of and pc
wont answer the phone either
and i used to open the back door incase a thunder bolt struck
but dont now
and i still put a cushion over my face or turn from a window
old habits die hard

I managed to get B's Malarone tablets after all! From a (reputable, UK) website where you get an online prescription! Phew - so that's a job out of the way! It was turning into a PITA

Ah wonderful I am still online!!! I could probably organise a flight after the meet.. Will see I would truly love meeting up with my cyber friends who are a wonderful varied group of people.
