We paid a visit to a Garden Centre this morning, to buy a few plants for the bit of garden we have adopted outside our living room window. Now we're waiting for a bit of clement weather, so that we can plant them out. It looks, though, as if it's going to rain soon.
Have a nice day.
There are no strangers here; Only friends you haven't yet met.
Good evening everybody. This morning, went with mrs.e to a friend. She does sewing and is very good. I took a pair of new trousers which want shortening. Mrs.e had a one piec jump suit which wanted altering and a dress. We will get them back this week as we want to take them with us when we go away again on Saturday. Cleaned the inside of the car this afternoon and have been pottering getting ready for our cruise on Saturday. Am going to see the nurse tomorrow morning. I have a check every six months. Nothing seems to change. It includes a blood test to make sure my kidneys and liver are functioning correctly.. She knows I drink on the cruises, but nothing when I am at home.
We had a lovely time at the art exhibition - once we'd found the place, as we took a wrong turn off the main road and ended up down a farm track
Lots of lovely paintings, but my favourite piece was an absolutely stunning bronze hare! I would have bought it if I had £4.5k to spare Mick got to chat with a few of the artists, which he enjoyed, so well worth turning out in the pouring rain
