I've been to Mablethorpe :)
Our holidays (often a week at Easter and summer) were spent at my granny's in Gainsborough so always included a trip to the seaside, usually Cleethorpes, but we visited most of that coast :)
Plenty of photos of me in my cossie with goosebumps
Also one with ice cream all down my front :)

When I was in the RAF I spent two years at RAF Lindholme, near Doncaster. Have been to Gainsborough many times and went there when I was working.
Most RAF camps were miles from any towns.

Afternoon all :)

We are having a great time, this place is so comfy, stunning but relaxing, and Gina and Gareth who run the place are lovely people :) Ria, Gina is from SA and Gareth from Zimbabwe :)

We had a wonderful dinner last night, slept like logs, woke for a scrummy breakfast ( I had poached eggs on toast and Mick had the Full Welsh lol) had a walk round the stunning grounds, then drove to Portmerrion! It definitely lived up to expectations :D

It started cold, but the sun came out by lunchtime, and we drove back here on the coastal road past Harlech and Barmouth, which we plan to visit properly tomorrow 8-) Looking forward to a relaxing evening reading by the fire in the lounge :)

Is that Finningley? We lived at Rossington when I was married.....moved there in 1989 and was there four years.

Glad you are enjoying your break Kaz! You've hit lucky weather wise :)

Hope everyone has a good Easter break....I've been in to work this morning of course, no rest for the wicked!! My 'regular' doctor 'popped' in to spend over £300! His passions are fishing and glasses ROFL!! After that, given Boss is on holiday, I had no clinic and spent the remainder of the morning doing my Monday admin and sorting stuff out for the horror of back to back appointments next week (I think I am working alone again on Tuesday) :(

Bit miffed this afternoon....Tom decided he would like Lewis to come and stay. He asked if I minded (I did) but I can't say so, it causes bad feeling. But it did anyway as he could read my body language. So they went out together and I went off for a Nordic walk round a local 'burn' - didn't take pics but I should have as the sunlight on the water looked beautiful. Popped into Sainsburys on the way back and got a £7 top for £5.25 :)

I'll have to be up soon tomorrow to see to Lewis as Tom's at the farm from 6am. See, miffed.

Enjoy what's left of Easter Saturday xxx

Thanks Jo x

The miffed continued when Tom said Donna was in agreement that we should go to the caravan this weekend, since we will be away next weekend, when they could use it. But by this time Tom had committed to helping at the farm, and I didn't have plans in place for Charlie, so we stayed home and they went to the caravan  :? It rained.
