Yes it was long ago and the police had very different priorities then.

The child was taken by police escort to Edinburgh and it was a week before they knew he would survive. Can't imagine it myself, horrible.

I'm sure you'll have a lovely time Aggers :)

Jo it was good, I got my box covered but still have to coat the whole thing with another layer of this stuff called Mod podge, it acts as both glue and sealer.
Might get that done before Friday in which case will need something else to do.

One lady is really talented in all things crafty; while we were there she made and embroidered a white rabbit, and worked on a beautiful piece of embroidery, all spring flowers that she was doing onto fabric covered with different strips of coloured material.
Another had bought a beginners watercolour set and was copying one of the pictures, a couple were doing felting...so it went well :)

I've been to W/rose, my god it was heaving in there, don't they know it's ages till Sunday, they'll need to go again before then!
Think we'll have beans on toast if the alternative is going there
Actually just remembered the pop-up farm shop is open Friday and Saturday, a much nicer option but they don't do veg.

Afternoon everyone :)

Well it was a frantic start to the day here as our boiler packed up! Mick had a quick look, then called the guy who services it, who can't come until tomorrow! So we had to switch on the immersion heater, but it was still only lukewarm by the time I had to get ready for zumba! So I had a tepid shower (yikes) and then rushed out! :cute:

So many posts already so will just wish Ton better, and wave to everyone else :D

xxxxx

Gorgeous sunshine again today, nowhere near as warm though! Great drying wreatjher, Becky did her washing ang got it out, and washed the dogs too

Yes - we had a wonderful time.
There was my sister, her daughter - complete with husband, son and
adopted daughter. It's two years since I last saw any of them and it was
lovely to see them again. We gave them a traditional English tea, and
it was hugs and kisses all round. Sheer bliss!
