Oh Lord Debih, I do hope, as I'm sure you do, that one day all this will be just a memory and you can enjoy her being a dog again.

I do hope so Di but at the moment it seems an awful long way off.

I know. And you've been going through all this a lot longer than we have.
Thanks MM

Well, she's not been sick again and has now had a tin of ID mixed with yoghurt.

And Sunday night is weigh in night. Last Sunday she wad 13 kilos and we were expecting a loss this week as she ate so little on Monday and Tuesday because of the op and her sore throat, then the diarohea yesterday but she was 13.05 tonight. Not much but in the right direction.

4.5 kilos to go to get back to where she was on 22 November. But that's a gain of 3 kilos over the past 5 or 6 weeks.

That's brilliant Debih, to have managed to gain even a little bit :)

Minnie's ok, not had the plops since yesterday evening. I was going to ring the vets but wanted to wait till she'd 'been' again. She wasn't waiting to go when I got up, so it wasn't an upset tum as such.
She finally had a poo this afternoon, just a small one, but it's almost normal. Sorry about the toilet details but it's the only way to say it!
I didn't want to take her for a mini-walk earlier either, in case she did one that I had to try and pick up with a bag! Anyway, we've had a little walk now, she got to only just round the corner and stopped and turned round, but then walked past our path and on down to the garages at the other end of the road. So she's probably walked as far as Andy's and back ;)

She's still pretty ravenous so at lunchtime I cooked her some more fish and rice, I figured it shouldn't do any harm and she's got to have the extra protein.
