Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 23 Feb 2013, 07:55

Good morning :D

Seeing as I'm in a sweetie mood I'll describe the weather as Liquorice Allsorts!

Rain through the night..cloud, blue sky, a bit of sun and wind this morning.

I'm off for a run shortly..I'll probably wake all the neighbours up coughing as I run past their houses.

Back for Mr Martin and breakfast a la Donster. :D :D

How did you get on at Ikea Osc? :) :)

Hope everyone is ok and enjoy the day.

Good morning Saturday

Postby Diflower » 23 Feb 2013, 07:58

Morning all :)
Pale grey sky, very cold again - but no rain, and light enough to pull the curtains back at 7.30 :D

Bb was a hero and got all his work done yesterday so lucky me will have the car to go shopping, rather a long list. I could go anywhere else as well, but actually this weather doesn't make it much of a pleasure. Maybe a pootle round the town and market later though. Youngest couldn't find the lead for his mp3 player and mine doesn't fit, so if the 99p shop has one I might splash out for him ;)
Not sure about dinner either, Saturday nights are often for homemade pizzas but he only got his brace fitted on Tuesday so will wait and ask him what he thinks.
Minnie will definitely be having another tiny weeny walk or maybe even two :)
Hope everyone has a good day
Di
x
Edited to add - I posted as you did Ally, have been clever and merged the two :)
Enjoy your run and Mr M :)

Morning everyone

Ally, you'll be getting a thunderstorm later  we've now got blue sky and a few clouds rather than the gale force winds and torrential rain we had yesterday

We'll also be watching Mr Martin, required watching in our house now  Grumpy keeps telling me how I should be cooking    so tonight I'm doing cghinesey something or other.

Other than that, pootling - I might wash all the tiles in the bathrooms

Have a good day everyone and hope Minnie enjoys her walks xxx

Good morning, friends.. Hope you are all OK.

We are off soon to the Welsh Springer Spaniel Club Dog Show which, this year is being held about a mile from
where we live !!! We won't be entering Prince, as, like me. he's getting on a bit now. He loves going to
these events where he can meet all his relatives.

Have a nice day. See you later.

Morning everyone :D Nicely 'merged' Di, much better than having two threads 8-) :D :D

Ally enjoy your run, and take care of that cough ((((x))))

Di I think a mooch around in the town sounds a great idea after being shut in so much with Minnie lately - hope she is still doing ok, that was such good news about her yesterday! :D

Ton would you like to borrow the steamer for those tiles? :D Hours of endless fun to be had with a steamer  :D :D ;)

Saundra it's grey ad chilly here too

Aggers I hope you and Prince enjoy the show 8-)

We're off out here too in a while - not sure yet whether on foot or in the car.................We need the exercise but it;s soooo chilly :?

Becks had a meeting about her trip yesterday, only 6 weeks to go and she's so excited :D :D Sadly that tutor who had the stroke will not be back, at least not this year, she's still in a bad way - she was in charge of the trip but they have someone else doing it now................

Have a good Saturday everyone, stay warm xxxxxxxx

Morning all. Cold here but quite nice.

Off for a ride this morning, pottering this afternoon then out to a party this evenin. I don't want to go - it is someone that Mick works with so I won't know a soul.

Morning all! It's grey and cold here.
I'm off into town shortly, I'll walk down with Tom as he's going to the gym. John is walking part of the way with us with Billy, who will then treat us to our regular Saturday shaming when we part company and he stands on the corner howling as I walk away (Billy that is, not John...).
This afternoon we'll take Bill for a bitterly cold run on the Chase - it's not too bad though, I can layer up enough that just my knees and face get cold  - and this evening we'll be visiting my parents.

Have a good day everyone!

Good afternoon all, just! It's grey and very cold again here today, but slightly less cold than yesterday and Mr. Osc has cut the grass, and noticed that our rhubarb is coming up nicely. I've been busy since we got up, my brother is coming to stay the night which motivated me to actually do some vacuuming. Thankfully I always have the spare bed made up, so didn't have to wrestle with a duvet. Michael is coming to stay tomorrow night, but his bed is all ready for him with his Thomas the Tank Engine duvet which he loves. My sister is going to come and have her tea with us tonight, so Mr. Osc has chicken thighs cooking gently in the slow cooker, which we will serve with some rice, and sis said she would make a tart with the last of her Christmas homemade mincemeat.

Ally, we made it out of Ikea in one piece, needed two breaks for tea and cake  Once I finally copped on to the fact that you follow the arrows around the floor and they have regular spots to figure out where you are, we did ok! We weren't buying, just looking for ideas, although I did buy three lampshades. Don't think I would buy a lot there except some of their storage stuff which looks really good.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you have planned :)
