Good morning Thursday

Postby meriad » 29 Dec 2016, 06:58

Morning all - I'm first again

Up early this time as I've got three of the cats booked in for 8.30am boosters. Always glad when that's over and done with.

Other than that need to go shopping for a few bits as I've got four friends round for lunch tomorrow - keeping it very simple and making mac 'n cheese with something green on the side. Probably will pop in to see Karl and Nadine as well

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning Ria, morning all. :)

I thought I'd get up and get out running before my coffee - I did, and now I'm feeling super smug as I sit here drinking said coffee and know my deed is done!

Christmas shopping for me this morning   as I have 3 presents to buy for next week's Day of Kings.

Apart from that very happy to be at home reading, eating chocolate and watching TV. (I've discovered the Professionals on ITV4!)

Have a great day everyone.

PS...how was the film yesterday Jen?

Good morning all! Looks like it's going to be another beautiful Winter day, another 10 minutes or so and it should be light enough to go out for a walk.

I think I'll get the house back to normal today and take the trees and decorations down, I'll do some cleaning too while there's no one else at home!

Very sad to hear the news about Debbie Reynolds

Have a good day all!

Change of plans!
After slipping and sliding my way across the patio to the bin our walk will wait for a while! My boots aren't good on ice!

Morning all!

Jo it's the same here - a thick white frost and brilliant sunshine, my favourite Winter weather but very slippy! Very sad news about Debbie Reynolds, the shock of her daughter dying must have been too much

Well done on the run Ally :D

I never got my head around 'Hudson' being the hard-nosed boss in The Professionals   Martin Shaw was scrummy though, still is!

Good luck to the pussycats Ria :)

Well Mick is working today so I think I'll do some washing and ironing, get it out of the way as he's off again tomorrow :)

Have a good day everyone :)xx

Morning everyone

Lovely morning again :Hi: :Hi:

Think I'll take the decs down too Jo - I get fed up with the clutter  not that I've got a lot 8-)

Then mixing up a "natural" weed killer, to save me sitting on my bottom, weeding the drive and also spraying the grass at the fencing, as the blasted cows are still trying to get through the fence   :x trying to get at our veggies garden :x :x

Have a good day everyone, walk carefully over there xx

Freezing and slippy underfoot here as well, but a beautiful sunny morning now.

Well done on the run Ally, and good luck keeping the cows out of the veggie garden Ton!

We have a couple of bills that need paying so after a cup of tea it will be time to defrost the car and get going.

Morning all :)

Bright sunshine here, but we've obviously had a very heavy frost, still signs of it lingering. E said it was quite treacherous going round for the papers.

We loved the film Ally, much better than the newest Star Wars film shown earlier this year.

Very sad, I was a huge fan, not many of the really big Hollywood stars left now

No plans for today, we did intend going out for a walk to the harbour, but not sure I'm up to braving the cold, we'll see.....

Hope you all have a good day :)
