Good morning Ally and all! As far as I can tell it's dry out there.

Running into town this morning as I've got a few things that I've ordered to be delivered to shops that are ready to collect. I'll come back and walk the Birthday Boy - our Billy's 5 today! It's the last day of term for Joe. Food shopping tonight.

Have a good day all!

Morning everyone

Another gorgeous morning here :Hi: :Hi: washing out :)

Not sure what we'll be doing, it was supposed to be wet today  so maybe we'll get outside and do something. Grumpy could possibly make a start on the car-port, as the ceiling needs sanding and staining - we're borrowing some scaffolding for the really high bits.

Have a great day everyone and hugs for the birthday boy x

Morning all,

Enjoy the end of term Ally. It was always a source of rejoicing in our house.

I shall hobble to the Airport today. Flying today, working from home tomorrow.

The bruise on my leg has finally come out. I have a black bruise the size of two of my fists on the outside top of my thigh and it stretches round almost to the inner thigh in a black and yellow band wrapping round my leg.

<sigh> I guess it will go some time. Probably not for Christmas though. Still chewing 6 - 8 200mg ibuprofen a day. I guess that will have to go on for a while. I can't take the deep heat or the Voltorol through the airport, too large, so I've left them here.

Have a great day all.

Morning all :)

The coffee morning went really well, over £700 raised again this year.

Decided to do the shopping yesterday afternoon, we're away this weekend so don't need a lot. Meant we could have a nice lie in today.

It's taken us ages to get registered with a dentist here, finally have appointments this afternoon. Feeling really nervous, just hope this one is good with anxious patients.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Thanks for Bill's birthday wishes, he had a sausage for breakfast and a new toy (he loves unwrapping presents) and we've had a lovely long walk in the woods.

So much for me saying it was dry (it was dark when I posted though), it's been drizzly all morning and is so grey, but it's very mild. Also, so much for this being Joe's last day for this term - he phoned me at 11am and was just leaving college to get the bus home!

Jen, well done on raising so much for an amazing cause! Hope the dentist appointment goes well.

Kaz, hope it's not too damp for your walk to see D!

Ton, please tell us that you won't be climbing the scaffolding?

Safe journey Suff! Is that you back home for Christmas now?

Hi Jo,

Sadly no. I'm back again on Sunday and have to conduct interviews and select a contractor for a Jan start on my project. I won't go home till Friday 23rd. At least I'll arrive on Friday 23rd though.
