Just as long as you are not a boarder which I'm not

I'm not a hoarder one little bit Saundra but I can't say the same for Don. He'd keep the train tickets we've just used from Birmingham to Nottingham if I let him!

This house has been a dream home Jo - we love it so much. Also, having so much room makes it easier when we have visitors as we don't fall over each other. The pool is something I will not give up. If we do move (I'm quite fancying the idea of a 3 bed, 2/3 bathroomed apartment) but it must come with a pool.

We'll see....lots of time to see what happens. It won't be next year for sure. I'm not ready yet. ;)

There's no rush at all is there, and you've got to have room for your boys to come home for visits haven't you!
Dream home here too. It's the modern version of the old 3 storey houses that I've always loved and it's just so practical, it works so well for us. And if this rain keeps up we might even have an outside pool too

Our Christmas celebrations start this coming weekend with a visit to Wilts to see Mother. We'll be there for 3 days so will also see my elderly aunt and uncle as well as having a pre-Christmas meal with eldest daughter and her brood.

Christmas day it's just the 2 of us as it was last year, Z,M and the boys will be here Boxing Day which will be great fun. We're going to a dinner dance NYE and have booked into a hotel for the night :D

Saundra, the Tesco supermarket we use is usually closed on Boxing Day too but the Express down near the leisure centre opens.
I think Asda opens.

Well I have both my boys coming again, which will be lovely :) H is coming on the 22nd, Chris on Christmas Eve. He's driving home Christmas night as he has a regular 'date' with his mates n Boxing Day to see Brentford Town lose a football match!  Harry will be here until the 27th when he and Becks will both go to their dad's to see that side of the family. Becky will be back sometime over NY, not quite sure when.

I was hoping my sister and her 'lot' would all be coming on the NY weekend but with her two both being grown up now, with partners and jobs, they can't all come until the following weekend. So it will be a quiet holiday here, but I'm really looking forward to it. Mick is only working one day between Christmas and NY so we should be able to spend some quality time together, just the two of us :D D is away from the 22nd until after NY, at Mick's brothers :)

Master O and fiancée are coming down on Christmas Eve and going back on Boxing Day, staying with us. I believe there is a gathering of the local clans at SiL's house on Boxing Day and we are all invited to that.

I don't know quite yet what I will be doing over the break, but the Ostrich has pleaded special concession to attend a soccer match on Boxing Day, and has said he will pick Mrs O up from the family gathering on the way back .... :)

Cave. Anti-sleigh defences and Elf traps covering the entrance. Switch off phone. Hibernate. Crate of voddy and plenty of mixers. Portable DVD player and plenty of non-festive films. Mp3 player with loads of good music.

Emerge on Tues, 3 Jan, ready to take on 2017.

Sounds a good plan WM!!

Jen has assured me she will cook as per on C Day, Kyle is coming for lunch so there'll be the four of us. Donna is working 6-2 which is a first, so our usual C morning visit to see the littlies might not happen, as John will be going to his mam's for lunch with them and D will meet him there. Amy is going for a pub lunch with her mam so she won't be there, she usually stays here on C Eve so she can wake up with us to open her pressies but she has the dogs now so not sure how that;ll pan out. Christmas night will be just me and Tom I think.

Boxing Day I will spend with my sister....her first Christmas as a widow. Hope she'll cope ok bless her. Jen will be at Kyle's to help him make a special lunch for him and his mam.....Tom and Amy have sport to go to.

Mine will be the same this year as last and next year(s)... lunch with my folks, dinner with G mum and step dad. Only difference this year is we are going to his dads Christmas Eve for lunch as his birthday is NY day and that's when we normally go, only he's making a point of ignoring it this year, so it must be a big one he doesn't want to acknowledge
Everything happens for a reason
