Morning all, just! It's bright and breezy here after a night when it apparently rained a lot, although I didn't hear it  I've cleaned the shower, tidied up and been for a walk along the pier. The man from Hotpoint is finally coming to do whatever it is they have to do to all the dryers after the dryers going on fire. I got a text yesterday saying he would be here between 12.16 and 15.16 - such precision  All the cards are written, stamped and ready to post, I just need to wrap two presents for the post too then Kellie can help me post them on Thursday. Have a good day everyone :)

I don't think I'm going to bother with a Christmas cake this year Di, I know that Tom likes it but he wasn't around much over the last two years so I seem to be the only one who's eaten it

We went furniture looking, as we went over the Odemira to get scrummy stuff in Aldi and Lidl's.

And saw some rather lovely bedroom furniture.

Just need the bedroom sorted

Oh lovely, another parcel :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

The weather doesn't help does it Saundra

I used to make them but that was when we used to have people here for Christmas.
Last year we just bought a little oblong one, it wasn't enough we're both quite happy to eat it throughout January :)
This one's still quite small, a round iced one from Tesco.

Di that sounds just right, I'm not making my own this year either, I've bought one ready iced from Marks for far less than it would have cost me to buy the ingredients to make it

Got my parcel posted, went to D's, had carrot and coriander soup (yummy), and walked home in the rain (yucky)     Then I cleared out my pull out larder, throwing away the out of date stuff (there was lots  ) wiped out all my kitchen cupboards and made room for the Christmas stuff :) Tired now, think I'll get something out of the freezer for dinner 8-)
