I'm off into Stafford shortly to try and finish off the Christmas shopping. I want pyjamas for Tom and Joe, and then I just need a few bits and pieces for their stockings.

Mortning everyone

Fog now gone and another really hot day, by the looks of things.

Molly is banished to the car-port. She has decided that she likes to use the sofas as a scratching post, so I chuck her out every time she does it now. Grumpy is also in a grumpy mood And I'm bunged up in one ear, but, thankfully, no infection or pain, so it'll go when it's ready, I suppose.

We're off wood shopping Grumpy needs to see what the local builders merchants has and on Wednesday we'll be going to the wood shop, to order everything he needs. Because we're ordering so much, we get free delivery

Bright sunshine here

Safe flight home Ally.

We're popping out to do some shopping this morning. There's a new 'posh' Iceland opened (it's called Food Warehouse by Iceland, probably means it's the same food just more expensive) and we want to stock up on some party bites, good to have in the freezer this time of year. I always buy their bags of frozen mixed peppers, handy for casseroles, so can get a couple of those if nothing else.

Hopefully you'll get back to some sunshine Ally, don't know what it was like where you were, yesterday was lovely but otherwise the past few days seem to have been dark and dreary.
How many treatments to go Kaz, I know it was a lot but have forgotten how many you're having x

I'm off all the way around the corner to a friend's for coffee in a bit. We live that close yet realised we haven't even seen each other since before our holiday! Bb has seen her and Bob the dog a few times. Anyway that's another card written - that makes two!

Jen, there's a Food Warehouse on a retail park a couple of miles from us. It's been open a couple of years now but I'm yet to visit. Think it was said on the flyer we had when it opened that they sell things like shark steaks....

Just on the bus home. Didn't get anything I went for apart from a lettuce I did get a pack of filo pastry though Kaz (Tesco Extra had it)...and a Tassimo coffee machine

Morning all, very dull and dreary here. I have done all the ironing *polishes halo*, this afternoon I plan on finishing all the cards and perhaps wrapping the presents for my grand nephews in Cork, ready to post. I'm very excited, because this morning I heard that we have got tickets for the first night of the Irish Strictly - Dancing with the Stars. The BBC franchise it, and outside the UK that is what it is called. We know three of the pros (only three are Irish) and two of the judges, and the celeb list has just been revealed. That's on the 8th January, and I have applied for other tickets as well throughout the series, so hopefully we might be lucky again. Hope everyone is having a good day
