Good morning Saundra,
Have been to Screwfix for another timer for the Christmas lights. Ordered it on line last night. They open at 7.00 a.m
Have now found I had not set the days correctly as well as the time. That is why the original one was not working.
Am going shopping later.
Cloudy but no rain yet.
May clean the car later.
Have a good day everybody

Good morning. :)

We were out yesterday from 9.30am until 1.30 this morning! 8-)

We had a fantastic day made all the better by Jacob surprising us with a phone call to say he'd got the train to New Street and what pub could he meet us in! We were overjoyed. :D :D

Jackie very kindly found a spare bed for him to crash out on.

He's getting the train back with us to Nottingham at 1pm and Craig is picking us up at the station. Can't wait to see him and Leilani (who has spent the best part of the year working in Russia so I haven't seen her since last December.)

A day with the family, lots to eat and drink and I know the laughter will be flowing. 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Have a great day everyone.

Morning everyone

A lovely, sunny morning here :Hi: :Hi:

Have a lovely day with the family Ally xx

Will try and get some stuff done outside this morning, seems a shame to waste such a lovely day, by staying in and doing the ironing

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Ally that's lovely!! Happy times :) :)

Saundra I need to do my colour too, tomorrow night I think, too busy today! xx

Enjoy the lovely day Ton, it's raining again here! :x

Well, as already said, it's raining and we have lots to do today! Out first to Correttos for an early lunch, then popping in to see D, then food shopping as we have other plans for tomorrow, and then this evening trying to sort the decorations! If the tree no longer fits, thanks to the bigger telly, we'll have to pick up a smaller one tomorrow at some point, but I'm hoping it will be ok

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :)

Damp and miserable here.

Have another lovely day with the family Ally.

Hope your tree fits Kaz. Ours is so big we really struggled to get it in, it misses the ceiling by less than half an inch  definitely a case of 'boys and their toys'

We've had a very long lie in, don't need any shopping so intend to have a lazy day. This evening it's the ladies Christmas party, there will be 85 of us, look out Broadstairs is all I'll say :D :D

Hope you all have a good day :)

Morning :)

Dark, damp, generally horrid here, and lots of rain forecast, so no more to be said about that!
Bb's out working, I'm having a day off :)
Went to art yesterday, the last until January 13th, I shall miss it. I could say I'll do some at home but it doesn't happen often  :?
Oh I got some of the truffles for us as well Kaz :D

Ally what a lovely surprise :)
Ton glad you've got some better weather :)
Kaz good luck with the tree :x
Jen gosh, 85 of you, just as well you're warning Broadstairs in advance :D
x
Ps On here (pc) and my kindle I still have a gap where Mr Extra happy should be, so if you see nothing where you'd expect a smiley, that's why ;) :o :? :)

Afternoon all, mild but dull here. The heavy rain which was forecast to start a few hours ago hasn't happened yet though.

We walked Billy, there were plenty of squirrels which needed chasing this morning, and I've done some cleaning since getting back. Tom's gone to work and Joe will hopefully be getting up shortly so that we can visit my parents.

Night out tonight for John's company Christmas meal  Bah flippin' humbug. Neither of us want to go! There used to be a decent bunch who worked there but over the last few years the company's expanded plus most of the 'oldies' have retired and a lot of those taken on are full of themselves and love using corporate buzzwords. Think of a load of David Brents in one room and you're halfway there.

Have a good day all!

Afternoon all, dull and damp here. We were up and out early as we went to see Michael playing football. His team won 4-2 and he scored the first goal. I walked around the park (otherwise she would be heading on to the pitch  ), she had her little wooden crocodile with her. There was masses of goose poo, there are lots and lots of Brent Geese in the area, so I told Miss Osc that both the crocodile and Kellie's wellies will need to be thoroughly disinfected :o I still can't believe that a child of two years and two months can hold a conversation with you! She told me about her visit to Santa, what he gave her, and that she asked him for a blue scooter and a dolly (because goodness knows, she doesn't have enough dollies  )

Been pottering around since we got back, and just had lunch. Nothing planned apart from going dancing tonight, looking forward to that. Hope everyone is having a good Saturday :)
