Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 09 Dec 2016, 06:09

Good morning.

My alarm went off at 7am as usual...except it's 6am as I forgot to put the time back an hour!

We've got a busy day planned. 8-)

Meeting Judi at 10.30 for an hour or so at a coffee place in Hall Green then it's off to Ashley Lodge to see Joanie.

Over to Erdington and after a shopping spree at Mr Patel's spice emporium we're meeting Gez and Sharon for lunch. :)

After that it's over to Kings Heath to Off The Scale..a fab vintage shop. Lots of shops to hit after that as I have a list of goodies to buy. (Don packed his rucksack!)

That'll take a few hours and then it's over to Moseley to meet up with a load of friends in the Prince of Wales. We should get home about 1am.

Have a great day everyone. x

Morning Ally and everyone

Lovely sunny morning here 8-)

Sounds lovely day Ally - enjoy, even with the early start

We're off to Ourique later, to get a few bits and bobs and also pop into the post office, to see if there's anything we can do this end. Probably not :( :(

Not a lot else planned, see how it pans it.

Have a great day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Have a lovely few days Ally.

MrsC has gone invigilating to the local High school, I'm toddling off to do the shopping. Later there is a ton of Christmas cards to write and post.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning you two :) Morning all :)

Ally that sounds like a fabulous day - enjoy, even with the extra early start

Hope you get that parcel Ton, it would be an awful shame if you didn't :(

Morning Cromwell :)

Well it's very dull and dark here, but not raining which is the main thing. Fraggle is having his stitches out this morning - Mick and B have just taken him - and I'm off to get cooked again. I'm up to just over a minute now, apparently 5 minutes is equivalent to a whole day in strong sunlight! So they are building me up very gradually! Then I'm meeting Emma in the Quays for a cuppa and a mooch in the shops too no doubt ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :)

Damp and dull here.

Enjoy your day Ally, sounds very busy but lots of fun.

Hope you get your parcel Ton.

Finally finished pressie shopping, now just got the wrapping to do, not my favourite job. Also really must get started on writing the cards. If the weather stays like this we'll not be going far so no excuses.

Hope you all have a good day :)

It's damp and dull here too. Mr Osc's older sister was putting a card through the letter box earlier on, and obviously then decided to ring the doorbell, which I was pleased about as she was the only one of his siblings not to have seen the house - and she lives the nearest! After she left, a prospective client for Miss Osc called, saying he had called to her office and she wasn't there. So I invited him in and phoned her, only got her call answering but I have his details to pass on to her - an elderly man so not up to modern technology I suspect.

Now I can get on with the day! Mr Osc has gone to play golf. I'm going to change the bed, then I need to go out and get ingredients for a different soup I want to make. After that, I will be writing cards as I want to at least get the overseas ones in the post today. Have a good day everyone :)

Got everything we wanted but no joy at the post office. As she said, she has no idea which courier company the English post office would have used, but it's normally chronopost and as she said, they live up to their name, as in chronic!!

there was nothing in the back room, with an incorrect address and she didn't remember anything for Encalho coming through recently, so we'll just have to wait.

She also said it's possible that the parcel will be on it's way back to England

Good afternoon all, it's another mild day here. John's off today so we've had a lovely walk on the Chase and ended up at the cafe at the visitors centre for coffee and cake.

Joe's just popped down to the school to pick up his exam certificates. They haven't actually notified them that they were ready, I just happened to notice a post that the school had put on Facebook last week. Anyway, he's meeting his friend Ed and they're going together.

Have a good day all!
