I've never had it either. Every now and then I think about it, G has it every Year. The one he missed he got very sick, and is still recovering 2 years later.

I think that is why the medics try to protect us. Some strains of flu can be life changing or even deadly even in countries with the most advanced health systems.

I will continue to take the jabs, the cold I am now suffering is just a coincidence.

Yeah I know WM. I see that "coincidence" every year around the time people take the Flu jabs....

Just because your'e paranoid.....

The difference is that what I experienced, way back in GSK, made me look. Most people don't look so they believe it's a coincidence. But the point is that what you say is right. Some people really do need it and therefore it's available. I've only ever had real Flu (temps over 104), three times in my life.

It was massively worse than what goes round every year with the Flu Jab. However at 3 times in my life to date, I'll take the odd occurrence over an annual virus.

I have had it every year, for 5 years never had a problem. Everyone at work has it, no problems. Maybe that's just a 'coincidence' though :x

I've been having it for years and the boys have started to have it too, none of us have ever had anything more than an achey arm afterwards.

Maybe so miasmum.

It doesn't hit everyone and those who have it and don't get a virus are immune. Well to that strain anyway.

You'd see it more if only 50:50 in the office took it. I'll avoid a long discussion about Viruses, mutations and people who are more than usually susceptible... 8-) 8-)

The 'coincidence' is looking a bit more suspicious.

The manager and one of the staff at the local Co-op have fallen foul of whatever it is, and so have my neighbours, John and Sal. We all had our jabs in the same surgery.

Or maybe one of us caught a cold and have given it to all the rest....Image
