Living in the middle of nowhere

Postby tonicha » 29 Nov 2016, 19:56

like we do :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

I have to go for x-rays, having seen the doc earlier.

Beja

For those who don't know Portugal - it's about 45 minutes - on a good day - drive from us.

If we still lived in the Algarve, it's still about 20 minute drive to Faro - but we knew where the hospital was/is and also where to park.

So for my first hospital visit, a friend is organising everything, including ringing up for the appointment, as this is normal over here. She's going to make sure it's for next week, we have things on this week, so does she. And she also knows where this particular hospital is and where to park

Then it's down to the blood place in Ourique, for blood tests and she's very kindly coming with me to the docs afterwards, as he refuses point blank to speak English and his Portuguese (he's from the north) is not something I understand too well.
